The Chinese have summed up and established a complete and unique theory system of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which formed in the struggle with diseases in the past several thousand years. As a main producing area of traditional Chinese medicine, Jilin province is rich in medical herb resources and gathers many famous pharmaceutical enterprises, and its good natural environment is also one prerequisites for wellness tourism. Due to great potential for the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine health tourism, this paper takes Jilin province as an example, analyzes the current situation, finds out the shortcomings, then presents some targeted suggestions of the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine health tourism, which could promote the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine health tourism in Jilin province, and achieve the economic growth of Jilin province as well.
